This is a chance to be part of something unique, but it will require some hard work.

WLC is a 501c3 public non-profit graduate school with a world class MBA program. We have been transitioning from a for-profit trade school for several years now, and are entering the final, and most difficult, leg of our transformation. It has been a long journey, and for those of you in the know, well, you know.

We are evaluating the process of becoming a regionally accredited graduate research institution by 2021, and are looking for volunteers to help us on this final push: the transformation from DEAC to HLC.

If you have always wanted to be part of something special in education, love working hard for no money, want in on the ground floor, and have the time and talent to contribute and help define an organization for years to come, then please jump on board.

PS - This entire journey was basically initiated based in part upon finding this message board, and in part by all the people that said it couldn't be done.

Thanks for all the responses. I haven't been able to email everyone back yet, but I will. I am meeting today with out local City Manager and Director of Business Development to start integrating our little public 501c3 into the communities plans..there is a term called land grant that may come into play, fingers crossed..

    Thanks Abner!

Apparently there is a $50M downtown development project underway that is looking to attract foot traffic and about 1,000 new apartment leases. A school holding classes downtown can generate both of those, interesting..
