I'll be finishing up my B.B.A. degree next year with a fairly good G.P.A. if I stay on track. My question is, is there an regionally accredited university, with online classes, where I can start a DBA and bypass Masters?

Not to my knowledge. And even when doctoral programs do allow Bachelor's degree holders to apply, it doesn't actually save any time or effort, because you end up taking all the Master's level courses first.

Either way, what are your professional goals that you would want to jump right into a DBA?

My general understanding is this: A standard DBA is going to be 90 credits. If you start with a BA/BS then you have to do all 90. If you enter with a MBA (which are usually 30-36 credits) then this is subtracted from the 90. They're not going to make you re-take the Masters level courses. Now some programs might award you an MBA during the process, or if you bail out before doing the whole DBA they might give you a Masters (as a parting gift - let's have a nice round of applause for our contestant - isn't she a good sport ladies and gentlemen?):arms:

Lots of good information here. If it seems conflicting, it's because this is a varying target. Some schools will admit you based on your bachelor's, others will require the master's. Some will award a master's along the way, some will not. Some will award the master's as a consolation prize for a failed dissertation, some will not. But.....

....expect to do the same amount of work either way. You can't bypass the master's, but you might end up not earning one with your planned route. As with all such things, examine your options, your present and future needs, and engage the school(s) in question for specifics.

My understanding is that most US-based DBAs, being more practitioner-oriented rather than academic and research-oriented, generally require a business-related masters and typically industry experience for entry. It is rather uncommon for students pursuing even purely research-oriented business PhDs to enter such programs without a masters and/or professional experience under their belts. Haven't heard of it much (don't know a single colleague at my biz school who entered a PhD or DBA program without professional experience or a masters). On the other hand, it's not uncommon for PhD students in the liberal arts or hard sciences to enter their programs bachelor's-only (this is what my wife and her roommate from college did, both hard sciences, as well as my mother-in-law, modern languages).

A lot of good MBA programs expect you to have a few years experience in business before being admitted, it shouldn't really be too much to ask

Ahh that is what I looked for 2 years ago and wasn''t able to find any. Once I was middle of my masters, Walden University approached me that they relaxed their DIT entry requirements so If you have a masters you need to complete 64 sem hours and for bachelors 76, so that was interesting really. I would have done that :) may be do a DIT then?

And besides Walden's DIT, the only other school that you may need to check would be Northcentral, keeping in mind they may not advertise but you shouldn't be shocked if they decide while doing that individual degree plan thing since they typically follow 'best market practices' as mentioned above :p.
Having said that I would discourage doing that if you don't have enough experience, I am not even a big fan of doing Masters without real life experience of 2,3 years. But yeah after some experience, doing a direct DBA shouldn't hurt.

Walden University's PhD in Business admits directly from the bachelor's.

Worth a look but I'm not advocating

What about BSN's International Doctorate Program that's online based; cost less then 20K
It's a DBA and it is fully accredited.

You say you're "not advocating" but your first 2 posts were to recommend this school. You say it's fully accredited. Can you show this to be true? I know it's a private school so it's accredited by who, exactly?

Well, it at least claims ACBSP accreditation (not membership). But considering ACBSP has no problem accrediting schools without international accreditation, as long as they are outside the U.S., this can mean that BSN is in the same camp as SMC.

Looks like they are also accredited by NVAO which, according to Wikipedia, is legit. If I cared more and/or it wasn't so close to quitting time on a Friday I might dig deeper. But I didn't want to leave that speculative accusation against BSN hanging all weekend.

I am thinking ACBSP's schools overseas will have a problem with not having governmental recognition, and with ACBSP doing so well globally it is in their best interest to tighten these standards.

The DBA with SMC University and their upgrade to the PhD that gets sanctioned by the University in Nicaragua for payment of 4000 additional euros is not being accepted in UAE, by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

I have pretty much the same questions as Kizmet. As pointed out by Neuhaus, NVAO is legitimate (and compulsory, if a Dutch university wants to award degrees under Dutch law) but the BSN School's programmes accredited by NVAO are the Executive MBA, the Action Learning MBA and the International Action Learning MBA.

To the best of my knowledge, NVAO accredits bachelor and master programs but not programs leading to PhD (or DBA?) degrees, those are the responsibility of the universities. So, in what way is the DBA fully accredited? NVAO is not mentioned here BSN Online Executive DBA

This might teach me not to post before I've thought things through. NVAO doesn't accredit anything above master level. I said it myself. Sorry for being a bit thick.
