Has anyone completed the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Kaplan University? My employer is paying the tuition. I have transfer credits and was told I need 10 more classes to complete the degree. Are the classes at Kaplan difficult? Are they mostly writing assignments? From my understanding, each class is 10 weeks long. I am working a full-time job.

Does anyone know if it is possible that Kaplan University will allow me to take some of their Master of Science in Management or Master of Business Administration courses and use them to satisfy some requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree? I am eager to start a graduate degree even though I have not yet completed my undergraduate degree.

Thank you. I greatly appreciate your help.

I have no experience with Kaplan University, not sure what their assignment structure. If you afraid their courses are difficult, then college properly is not for you. Most of Universities/Colleges allow you earn the last 30 credits (10 courses) to be awarded a degree; Kaplan is not exclusive. Rarely, school allow you to take graduate courses before you even close to complete your Bachelor. There are some schools allow you take Master level courses while waiting for graduate or working your capstone project.

You might consider University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign's iMBA, certain course while waiting to be admitted into the program.

University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign is one of the most respectful universities in the United States. It is ranked #42 Nationally by U.S News, and ranking #47 in MBA/Business School.

I would recommend you to transfer to some name school instead of Kaplam, but the decision is your.

If your employer will only pay for Kaplan but not for another school, then it's a real school and there's nothing wrong with getting a degree from them for free. But if your employer will pay for other schools, I would consider alternatives that are better regarded.

I agree with the rest of your advice, but with all due respect I don't believe this bit is either true or helpful.

This is always a difficult question to answer - the ease or difficulty of a course depends on your experience, study skills, and completion of course prerequisites to a large extent.

I'd add raw intelligence into the equation as well. Most schools say that 10-15 hours of schoolwork is required per week per course
