Interesting article, here is the link.

My old college seems boring now. Apparently they would give you a pole dance if you sign up for the A.S. Degree, a lapdance for a B.A. Degree, a private "dance" in the VIP room if you signed up for the M.A/M.B.A degree, and a surprise if yo go for the doctorate.:firedevil:

Do the women get Chippendales guys? Or a choice? Maybe the men get a choice too? What about Trans? Queer? This could get complicated.

A completely unrelated but equally interesting factoid about recruiting is that when headhunters are recruiting to hire reps for pharmaceutical companies, the primary pool of prospects they look to are college cheerleaders (male and female). They are generally reasonably intelligent, physically attractive, energetic and already comfortable in the role of representing an organization. Bring it on!

That just described Penny from "The Big Bang Theory".

OK, so here's the "Penny Quiz:" Do you prefer the long-haired Penny or the new short-haired Penny?

I believe this is how many of these for-profit colleges view their students:

A lady friend of mine was a Recruiter for Cardinal Health and she was talking about trying to hire a cheerleader from some NFL team but I can't remember which one. It kept coming up in conversations about work and I could never figure out why it was so important for her to keep pursuing this cheerleader. I thought she nuts or temporarily obsessed. I guess now it makes sense. Interesting.

I thought all schools used strippers; I plead the fifth.

From the article: "Aside from the unconventional use of strippers, the federal lawsuit accuses FastTrain executives of falsifying documents..."

And what, pray tell, is the conventional use of strippers in higher education?

They have a Bachelors of Sensual Arts. I would totally hang that on my office, heck yeah! I also wonder if you visit your local strip clubs does it count as "research"? :headbang::naughty:

My thoughts exactly Dr. Bear. I have yet to see a college use strippers "conventionally". The only thing that comes to mind is the "conventional" use of strippers by athletic departments, mainly DIV I football and basketball, as recruiting tools.

I don't know about that but your subscriptions to all those porn sites could be written off as a business expense.:haha:

That's in the part of town many locals avoid (ie. the touristy part). I wouldn't be shocked to find out that most of it's clients are tourists who want the full Vegas experience.

The sentence makes sense. The use of strippers to recruit students in and of itself is unconventional. Hiring strippers for a bachelor or bachelorette party is conventional.

The American Stripper Society (ASS) may object to the unconventional use of strippers.

I think they award credit for the CLAP test. :smokin:
