  1. Just received my diploma (D.A. in Humanities) from Harrison Middleton University. A hearty thank you to Degreeinfo for putting me in touch with the school. I found the program stimulating and the studies challenging.

A few years back I posted some information about the school which is still relevant:

I believe the studies were most valuable in helping me enhance my thinking and writing skills. I can now read challenging texts with deeper understanding by continually answering the questions "What does the author mean?" or "What could the author mean?"

Once again, thanks to the board and may all find success in their studies.

A hearty congratulations, Dr. Your degree sounds hard earned; can I assume that you spent about 5 years in the program since the post you cited was from 2009?

  10. Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

@sickburn Yes, the program took five years of part time study.

@helpful2013 Writing the novel was the most fun and challenging part of the program. I am planning to publish it (publishers, though, may have different a different idea :slaphappy:)Right now I am thrashing through the weeds looking for an agent.

Just out of curiosity, do you know how many other D.A. degrees have ever been issued by HMU ?

I'm thinking that you might be a member of a rather exclusive club.

    Dr. Perry,

Don't overlook self-publishing with Amazon via kindle (they can also print hard copies). Several 'ignored' authors have achieved recognition through Amazon publishing that resulted in signing with publishers.
