Having tried it and not been good at it, I respect those who have close-up magic as a hobby.

    - Exercise (cardio freak lol)
    - Martial Arts (Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)
    - Self Hypnosis
    - Meditation and other spiritual practices
    - Listening to music (e.g. psychedelic trance, alternative hip hop, jazz house, salsa)
    - Video games, but I don't play them all the time.
    - Surfing the net and forums.
I'm getting more into reading books on religion, spirituality, self-help, psychology/psychotherapy, and peak performance too. It's part of what led me to getting my degree.

Wow, very cool. Can you make money appear like that too? If so, we need to talk.

I sport shoot more than I hunt. Being an animal lover, it would be easier for me to shoot a person than it would be to shoot an animal. I am currently building undocumented M-4 with an 80% lower from Juggernaut Tactical. I figured I might as well before they make it illegal and I lose my window of opportunity given the reactionary nature of our elected officials after all these school shootings.

I've had a ton of hobbies, but my 2 longest running (as in doing for over 20 years now) hobbies are Scuba and Judo.

Other hobbies include sailing, trap shooting, HAM radio, and video games. I've made attempts at musical instruments, but that didn't go so well.

I guess I could include DIY home improvement also, but since buying a fixer upper, it has been more of a second job than a hobby. My wife would probably say "working on a degree" is one of my hobbies also.

My most notable hobby is coaching basketball. I've been doing it for about 4 years and usually coach 3-4 teams a year if you include all stars. I have one more year before my daughters are old enough to play and I put together a 3rd grade team that I plan to keep together until they start high school.

Otherwise, I like traveling, mmorpgs, buying storage unit auctions and reselling the stuff.

Other than my love of retro video games (see my avatar), and my love of lurnin stuff, I'm also a lover of card and board games. Lately, I've spend most of my gaming time playing Backgammon. I've always enjoyed the game, but recently I've considered deeply studying it and developing tournament-level skills.

Not much of a gamer myself, no games on my phone. Will always have an affinity for Fallout, KOTOR, and space exploration games though. Only real games I've played in the past decade(?) were Fallout, Mass Effect Andromeda, and an occasional game of Mario Kart. Will probably pick up Outer Worlds at some point.

Amazing how life priorities and our free time changes, have really had to narrow the hobbies down and just pick a few that I really enjoy. Sold the kayak, mountain bikes, aquariums, race bikes, etc. Currently I just set aside time for crossfit and to occasionally volunteer with ski patrol and mountain rescue during the winter. Simply don't have the time or willingness to ski and board like I used to, but absolutely love being on the slopes and helping others. When it's warmer, enjoy hiking and a bit of climbing. Also have a good group of friends to safely enjoy some occasional morning motorcycle rides.

If you love card game, you may be interested in this one that my kids helped me develop:

(Sorry about the crappy web design, updating it has never made it to the top of any of our to-do lists.)

I played in local bands from about 1988-2001. Even did some album work, wrote a commercial jingle once. So, writing songs and working with music in my computer is one “hobby” at this point.

I also write screenplays. Have won a couple decent contests-even got some checks from those! But mostly I don’t expect anything to happen with them. I’m involved in the local indie film community, though.
