I enjoy reading! Unfortunately, not always I have time for a good book. Now I'm reding Gone with the Wind. Really interesting!

Having finished reading Johan Huizinga's The Waning of the Middle Ages, my direction has changed. I had thought I would then finish reading Plutarch's Lives of the Noble Greeks and Romans. After reading Johan Huizinga's The Waning of the Middle Ages, I also started reading The Golden Bough, which, like Huizinga, is in the Great Books of the Western World vol. 58. Then I started reading Johan Huizinga's The Autumn of the Middle Ages (which is a different translation). Since I have put no time limits on reading the Great Historians of the Western World, I went back to the Civil War and Reconstruction in Arkansas. I recently finished reading John Mortimer Harrell's The Brooks and Baxter War.

"The Wheels of Chance: A Bicycling Idyll" by H. G. Wells
Apart from the story it gives an idea of working conditions around 1900 and how primitave bicycles were back then.
I bought mine from Amazon but it is available for free from All Books (sorted by popularity) - Project Gutenberg
