I was looking for a thread like this one. I got into Rutgers MSW which is too expensive for me and have a small baby and his daycare etc would add up. The total cost wouod have come up to $45,000 in state tuition and no scholarships as I do not have a Green card or citizenship.

Well I found out through this forum that any MSW would cost me around that much or little less because of extra hours required for an MSW.

I am now looking for online (or hybrid around NY/NJ ) non profit management.

My main problem is cost. If anyone could let me know the lowest programs you know about please let me know.

    International Non-profit Management

From what I've seen, many of the programs listed above are great programs for non-profit management executives operating in USA 501c3 entities. However, leading multi-national Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), relief, development and/or advocacy organizations will need different skills that focus less on the US legal and management environment and more on cross-cultural connections, financial and legal issues. Even US non-profit organizations who have a large number of programs outside of the US will need a different focus.
Bakke Graduate University Bakke Graduate University | A Global Experience has an MBA that focuses on international connections and multi-national NGO issues. It also has a Doctor of Transformational Leadership (DTL) which is a doctoral level degree in international NGO leadership. It has faculty, students and alumni is over 50 countries so it can help build connections, especially in Asia, Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean. Sort of a niche but might be important to now about for non-profit leaders who want to lead in that niche.
