    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the BS in Criminal Justice at Capella University? I am currently attending Capella and wanting to switch my major to Criminal Justice. I don't know if I should switch schools as well, as there is a part of me that worries about name recognition or the lack of, with Capella.

I was considering UMassOnline as well as Colorado State University-Global Campus. Arizona State University is also on my mind. I don't know anything about Fort Hays University, but I've heard they have good prices so maybe if they have a CJ degree I should check them out?? I really just want a decent degree that will not be thrown to the side because of the school I went to. I don't even know if that would be the case with Capella...Anyone have any insight to offer? Is Capella's BS in CJ any good, or should I look for a new school? Thanks everyone!

    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

I have no experience with the program, but Capella University is regional accredited; which is a gold standard in accreditation. Even though Capella University is regional accredited; however, there are criticism on solely distance learning school.

I would recommend you to choose the school with good reputation as well as cost effective. There are plenty of UG CJ out there; why would you limit yourself.
