Hi all, I want to pursue my PhD mostly online, but not from a for-profit school. I would like to attend a traditional brick-and-mortar school with a good reputation, but I can't relocate. So I am looking for a hybrid program (i.e. you spend a few weeks on campus in the summer and do the coursework online in the fall and spring). Does anyone know of any programs like this, particularly in psychology or education? Thanks!
Traditional, not-for profit, short residency, good reputation....Nova Southeastern. There are many more these days. Could you be more specific about what you want to study?
I can't speak for Psychology major; but here are some education. - Colorado State University at Fort Collins 211 Online Education & Teaching Doctorate Programs & Graduate Schools Page No: 1 - GradSchools.com
That was the first school I thought of too. I know MANY people with education doctorates from Nova, including 2 uncles. Nova has been running their limited residency cohort doctoral programs for DECADES. In addition to my uncles, several of the faculty at the state university that I worked at had doctorates from Nova.
