    Hi,

I spent too much time searching for accredited DBA programs with tuition fees below 40.000 $ and I will be thankfull if anyone provide me with any suggestion.

Try British and Australian programs. Also, the DBA at Northcentral University comes in just over your threshold.

Well, it's not a DBA and it's just over $40k, but Bellevue offers a PhD in Human Capital Management. For a DBA under $40k you may have to look into DETC schools.

Go over to the Business and MBA Degrees subforum and look for the sticky thread called Lowest Cost PHD/DBA.

I think I already mentioned this but Australian programs are not longer cheap due to a strong Australian dollar. The cheapest program is above 40K USD.

DETC and South African programs are under 40K. Also, try your local schools, sometimes you can negotiate a doctorate with limited residency at your local university and many times local schools are cheap for local residents.

I went all the way to Australia to register for a limited residency doctorate just to find out later than many people had arrangements to do doctorates with limited residency at schools in Canada.

It might be worth it to investigate dissertation-only Ph.D. programs from the UK.

I believe Heriot-Watt's DBA can be done for less than $40,000.

If you close by DE Wilmington University offer DBA program with residency (every 2 week) and classes 7 week long, the total cost is 27,000 and can be completed in 2.5 years

To add to this, Wilmington is planning on offering its DBA completely online in Fall 2013. Wilmington University Business Administration Doctor of Business Administration

If Wilmington University's tuition rate stays $27K for the program once it's all online, then they just became my new favorite choice for an American doctorate in business by distance.

To make it even more interesting, one can take classes on Saturdays, two at a time! (Attractive for those living in the region). Online will be the icing on the cake. Hurray for this University!

Why you're saying that? Isn't that your Ph.D in Business Administration have more reputation and well respect than a Doctor of Business Administration?

I think what he means is that Wilmington is better option than NCU. I think is all about timing, NCU was the best option 10 years ago for a distance doctorate but now there are quite few better options. Wilmington might be better but tomorrow you will have better schools offering a doctorate online.

I think for practical purposes, Wilmington or NCU are similar because both lack of AACSB accreditation but Wilmington just sounds better on a resume because is a non for profit B&M school.

DBA at 28K? No brainer. I would have grabbed it.

"Tuition will be around $20,000 annually, and a degree should take three years to complete." On the other hand, the University of South Alabama is AACSB accredited, and the article also says, "Students should anticipate spending nine to 10 days on campus during each semester, but even those will be held primarily on weekends." So I can see that might be worth thirty-three extra grand to some people.
