Quick Masters in Psychology?

I completed a PhD over the course of 6 years and never took a single course I did not need. They have other issues but that is not one of them.

The reason why my GPA dropped from a 3.2 to <2.0 was from early on in my college career, ever since that one semester it's been dragging me down. and by that notion i mean <3.0 the requirement for undergrad admission to graduate school. In my freshmen-sophomore year i was in disarray as to what i wanted to do in life. After it clicked I had to switch majors which put me behind academically. I absorb everything psychology related like a sponge, hence the accelerated classes for the Master's I'm looking for. I really want to be finished with school with the least amount of time possible as, I'm itching to start my career as a Clinical Psychologist.

 

I'm sorry cgarretson, but to be a clinical psychologist, you're going to have to do quite a lot of schooling. If you're looking for a one year master, you might find something interesting from MSPP. They have an online Org. Psychology Masters that can be done in one year. However, I don't know much else that can work for you; plus, that masters program may not be suitable for your intended goal. However, I hope it helps you.

 

NCU's psych masters won't take long if you really know your stuff and want to move fast. However, it is probably not the best school if you want to be licensed. The NCU catalog has some warnings about licensure and recommends the marriage and family therapy track for PhD students.
