Because of Straighterline's new proctoring rule, (I have an old Mac w/out iSight or microphone and don't like the hassle of proctoring) I'm thinking of going with them tomorrow. Anyone know if they skip proctoring all together if you sign up now?

My first Eng comp clep was pretty stressful and I'm good at English (got a 54 :p)
Im thinking of going with Straighterline for their year program at $999 for the next 5 credit classes plus intro to algebra. That's $165 a class.

I think I'd have to actually learn math and science all over again, been 30 years. Besides I have to do SL for eng 2 anyway and that whole finish in 28 days or youll be charged another $100 looks kinda stressful. I'll have to spend $500 on 5 cleps anyway and this gives me the intro to algebra too, so it'd actually be $600.
I know it's more but I think I'd prefer structure. Am I missing anything? I feel like there's a reason not to do this but can't put my finger on it.

Also, anyone know if Liberty requires proctoring and if they accept Business Comm for their gen Ed core Comm requirement. Yes I called them but won't know till I submit paperwork.

Most seem able to bust these out in weeks not months. College Algebra took me exactly 28 days and I can barely spell M A T H

    Thanks!
I found out Bus Com won't transfer anyway so that helps me to decide.
