They just acquired the old Northfield Mount Hermon campus, founded by D.L. Moody (his birthplace and grave are on this property) for FREE.

Pretty lucky for a school which already has pretty low overhead, dude to having so many online students. It's a beautiful campus. I hope they treat it right.

I'm pretty excited to see what GCU is planning to do with this campus. It's completely different from the main campus in Phoenix, Arizona, which I attend to. I'm sure GCU is going to treat it right, since the main campus are really well designed and structured.

I've seen the main campus as well. It's really well kept and very pretty. I think they will be very good to the new campus.

There's so much buzz about this whole new campus in the northeast, like the faculties and students who came from Boston area are excited. Most of them traveled to Arizona, like I did, to attend the campus on ground.

What I'm really excited is the fact that GCU is growing rapidly and it's academic standards. For example, average GPA of new students: Fall 2012, 3.4, acceptance rate is 37% (less selective, 2010), and GPA requirement for 2012-2013 is 2.75 (undergrad) and 2013-2014 will be 3.0 (undergrad). I believe GCU is trying to prove that not all for-profit schools are same and have the low-quality education like what the media is displaying. I like to see the school become well known in the northeast, as it already is in the southwest. It will definitely open doors for me when I graduate in 2015.

Somehow Grand Canyon University Massachusetts doesn't sound quite right.

I was thinking the same thing, and was wondering if the school is thinking of giving the Northfield campus a more regional name. For instance... the Pioneer Valley Campus. The PV is the area of northwestern MA, along the Connecticut River, where Northfield is located... and it's technically similar enough to "Grand Canyon" to reflect upon the school.
