How difficult would it be to start a new college?

    Well, I was thinking of English Literature, not English as a Second Language. Different beasts entirely.

    Lots of good posts.

    In addition to the above, since you are in central Pennsylvania I'm also going to suggest you talk "in-person" with a few professors in the History department at Bloomsburg University. I'm certain they can give you solid information about this. No doubt they'd like to offer a Ph.D. in History there ... I'm certain that there are reasons that they don't.

    12 education is not dificult. Because i read in 13 education and i pass the 12 education very easily. If you want to pass easily your 12 education and want to be good result please follow the step. Firstly you have need always attentive to class and then you must do your house work every day it enough for your good result.

    Back to the original question posted in this thread.... It might not be that difficult to start a college. As said, the main thing that would be needed is money. As with most start up businesses, the main source of capital comes from investors willing to take a gamble with your idea. Also there might be federal funds available in the form of grants that might help you start up your school.

    Or you could always do like some of the other schools online.....go to OfficeMax, buy a printer, and start selling degrees....Accreditation? That part is easy too when you create your own accreditation agency... You can learn all about it with this wiki post
