Israeli archaeologists: tiny Christian relic found - Technology & science - Science - msnbc.com Abner
A relic which contains the symbol of the cross- a pagan symbol which predates Christ by possibly millenia- and that is purported to represent a religion that strictly forbids idolatry? This relic is about as "Christian" as the holy soap that they tried to sell me when I entered the gift shop of a huge church in NYC at: No surprises, really. The Crusaders, who literally never read a single word of the Bible (the church mercilessly punished anyone who tried to disseminate the Bible in whole or in part), are often referred to as "Christians." I came, I saw, I ranted fftopic:
I don't think this is one of those "We Found The Ark" type things where people grasp at straws to "prove" that the Bible is right. This is just a trinket probable buried by a Christian believer from way back when. It's an interesting Archaeological find.
