    Truth About Northwestern Thgeological Seminary

I am a graduate student at Northwestern Theological Seminary.
This is a 31-year old worldwide educational ministry. We have numerous students enrolled at NTS who have come from major universities including Liberty for their AADP Accelerated Master's and Doctorate programs which can be completed in just 12- weeks to 2 years depending on supporting transcripts. NTS has elected to align with IACEA which is a Christian educational accountabiity association, rather than a secular, government overseen acreditation agency. Northwestern Theological Seminary degree programs involve an intense curriculum and this school can not be considered as less than a quality seminary just because they opt out regarding secular accreditation. Go to their website and read the student testimonials. Northwestern also offers the MOODLE online eduational management system which is the same system used by major universities. Do not fall for posts where someone seeks to discredit one Christian ministry, just to promote a free school. It is great that there are free schools for those with no funds for education. However such schools must struggel to provide any curriculum at all, with no funding for staff, materials, program content etc.

Concerning the Bishopric robes of Presiding Bishop; Howard M. Sarkela
It is a shame that you would knock a Christian leader such as Presiding Bishop; Howard M. Sarkela.
His reputation is flawless and he heads a domination (Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ) which includes approximately 4,000 affiliated churches and over 900 NTS seminary branches worldwide. Bishop; Sarkela has every right to where white Bishopric robes and attire when meeting with the President of the Philppines at Malancanyan Palsace in Manila, Philippines and while conducting ordination and graduation ceremonies. Shame on you for judging this man of God based on his Bishopric attire. Judge not lest ye be judges. Have you done as much for the Lord as he has? Do you head up a 31- year old worldwide denomination? Is your ministry responsible for the making of thousands of Disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ? You should repent and apologize.

    In Christ,
    Mike Calenti, NTS Semianry Student

If you're considering religious studies at an unaccredited school, I suggest you might look into Nations U. Their reputation is good, rigor of their programs is well-known and the fee is $100 year for US students. NationsUniversity - Tuition-free Online Christian Education - NationsUniversity

There are religious accreditors (so it is not secular or nothing) and they would likely not qualify for accreditation. Explain to me how the MA or PhD in 12 weeks makes Northwestern Theological Seminary credible? Is this comparable to accredited seminaries or diploma mills. You might make a list of diploma mills that offer the doctorate or Masters in 12 weeks versus accredited seminaries. Please report back to us with your findings (can't wait as the 12 week accredited doctorate would be a real blessing to many people).

Do you want to give God your best or present Christian education as substandard?

On top of the Masters and PhD in as little as 12 weeks, the catalog states the doctoral dissertation must cite at least 5 works (page 30). Can you tell us with a straight face that this is comparable to accredited PhD programs in theology?

Seriously, please pull up accredited PhD programs in theology and prove that Northwestern Theological Seminary is similar (or anywhere near close).

In addition to the 12 week PhD and 5 cited works for the dissertation, they have a page on accreditation which goes to enormous length to justify their lack of it.

    Love some of the headings:

United States Government Approval writ large and bold. Then states they are a 501c with all rights and privileges.

They have IACEA accreditation. This organization carries no weight that I know of anywhere. Certainly not a recognized accreditor. Can't see a list of schools they accredit. They do note this,
    IACEA Approval Process

    And these handy benefits:
    IACEA - Benefits

Also, the online Northwest Theological Seminary has a Vice President of Security with a PhD an ThD.

NTS also seems to have Northwest Christian University with similar graphics (when you click on some of the NTS tabs you get the old style web page similar to NCU). Plus the president (Samuel Galloza) is also on the NTS staff. Welcome to Northwestern - Online Christian University Same picture of the Christian Guidance Center on both sites.

Then there is this interesting tidbit, Churchill Maghanoy is the head of the "accreditation agency" for NTS. He is also listed in this link with an advertisement for Northwestern Christian University. Header is University Degrees in 12 weeks

Correction, Galloza is the President of both NTS and NCU (not to be confused with similar accredited seminaries). Interesting that the head of the accreditation agency was offering PhD's in 12 weeks from Northwestern Christian University. Isn't that some sort of conflict of interest?

    Northwestern Theological Seminary Defended

Allow me to reply to the above deceptive and malicious attack on a fine seminary:
Northwestern Theological Seminary is a legitimate seminary and part of a 31- year old worldwide, educational mimistry. It seems that the poster is trying to discredit this ministry through deception and malicious statements. The Presiding Bishop has every right to wear white Bishopric robe and attire especially when meeting with heads of state (Philippine President) as is shown in the online photos, or condicting ordination ceremonies etc. Furthermore, you have stated that the master's and doctorate degree are earned in just 12 weeks. That is not correct and it is not what it says on the home page of the NTS website. The facts are that such degrees can be completed in as little as 12-weeks to one year. However, such must be qualified by supporting transcripts to show that most of the courses with the exception of the Thesis or Dissertation, have been fulfilled elsewhere. It is not at all proper to deceptively attack God's ministry. NTS is a legitimate school and perhaps the only online seminary providing the MOODLE online eduational management system. I am a student at NTS and we have numerous students from Liverty and other major universities who are earning their accelerated graduate degrees at Northwestern. Visit the NTS webste for student testimonials. As students, we are vey pleased with the quality of education offered by NTS seminary.

Truth regarding Northwestern time requirements for master's and doctorate degrees

Northwestern Theological Seminary does give God it's best and is not substandard and how dare you misquote the webste and use deception to attempt to discrdit a fine seminary. I am a student at NTS and I personally know numerous students who have transferred to NTS from major universities for the AADP Accelerated Graduate Degree Program. which is takes 12-weeks to a year to complete as stated on the website and NOT just 12- weeks as you have stated.

The website clearly states that you can earn your master's and docotrate degrees in just 12-weeks to one year when qualifying experience is documented by transcripts.
It does not say just 12-weeks? There are major colleges that offer similar summer programs whereby students can earn their master's degree by thesis only, this is not a new concept. However, Northwestern requires completion of courses in addition to the thesis or dissertation, unless such courses have already been fulfilled and can be supported by transcripts. This is the truth which was not stated.

It is obvious that someone has a mean spirited motive to attack and discredit NTS. I do not understand why this person is doing this as nothing good can come from seeking to direct people away from a quality education which is very affordable. I checked out all of the online programs before enrolling at NTS and NONE compared to Northwestern in both educational program content and affordability.

Northwestern is a large educational ministry with branches all over the world making an impact for the Gospel through educating Christian disciples.
God does not attack His own body. True Chrstians do not attack ministries and use deception and false statements to mislead others in an attempt to smear the name of a Christ centered ministry of God. This ministry has been around for 31-years and has never been involved in any controversy. Instead of making deceptive and mean spirited attacks against God's ministry, why not focus on discrediting the cults who are teaching lies and attempting to deceive immature Christians? Why attack seminaries that make Christian disciples?

In passing false judgement on other ministries, you are just showing your lack of maturity and love in Christ. I will ask the leaders of NTS to organize the student body to pray for you and others who attack Christian ministries so that you may repent and align with the body of Christ instead of allowing Satan to use you through deceptive practices to cause harm to ministries that are teaching the WORD of GOD throughout the world. I will continue praying for you. May the Lord forgive you.

Truth about IACEA Administrator Churchill Maghanoy

You have just libeled yourself by commiting slander and defamation of character against Churchill Maghanoy the IACEA Executive Administrator. I have just verified with the leadership of Northwestern that Churchill Maghanoy is not invloved in promotion for the Northwestern educational programs in the PHilippines and has not been for a very long time. Chruchill did work as a volunteer in promoting Northwestern's Philippine website before Churchill was appointed to the Administration at IACEA. Since Churchill's appointment to IACEA, the old Philippine site has been stripped of content and no ad campaign is actively functioning in the Philippines. There is no conflict of interest and to accuse Churchill of such is an act of slander/ defamation of character, making the perpetrator of such posting libel for legal action. It is strongly suggested that a retraction be printed immediately and that the malicious poistings be immediately removed.

    BE CAREFUL ABOUT ATTENDING NTS
I completed an undergrad degree in Biblical Studies from Northwestern Theological Seminary in 2010. I chose the seminary because I was looking for an inexpensive, self-paced Bible degree. Here are some things I wish I had know before I enrolled at NTS:

    1) NTS Administration is very inefficient for alumni. The year I graduated from the NTS I requested a transcript to be sent to a job I was applying for. It took six months for them to send the transcript, and it was only sent after I threatened legal action against the seminary.
Two years after I graduated I still did not have a diploma, so I requested a diploma and transcripts as I was applying to be a minister. I followed up on this initial request for two months via email, fax, phone, and snail-mail with no reply. Only after threatening LEGAL ACTION did they respond and say they would send the documents. Almost two more months passed with no documents. I contacted a lawyer, who contacted them, with no reply. Finally, after 3 months, and 27 separate requests, they sent a diploma...but NOT the transcripts and to the WRONG address (they mailed it to the address they had on records, rather than the address I had included in every request I had sent them).
    2) I still have not received the transcripts and it has been 4 months and counting.

When I first emailed them this internet posting, so they could verify its accuracy, they responded by threatening to sue me for libel (everything I have said is true, so they can't) and threatening to give me an unsatisfactory grade on my transcripts in the area of Christian citizenship. After a slew of communications from them denouncing this proposed internet posting, they have once again stopped communicating with me. Let the buyer beware

    Complete scam!

This "school" is a complete scam. I am out $1700 with nothing to show for it. Never received any grades for submitted work. No communication or emails from my "advisor" despite multiple attempts from me. PLEASE don't waste your hard-earned money. I have reported them to the BBB, to Paypal and to the FL fraud law enforcement agencies.
