    Wow, that was fast!
    Sounds like fantastic deal.
.. but please give the website a redesign. The stock photographs, change of font sizes and layout don't make a very trustworthy impression.

Is this a school or an organization, seems kind of strange. . .

Cool beans, for sure... I am in the application process for Aspen's Master of Science in Technology and Innovation program (just couldn't pass up the discounted tuition plan before it expires next month, plus the three course credits for my PMP cert is the icing on the cake). Dr. Dave certainly is working hard to shift the higher education paradigm, no?

I don't work on the IT side like I have at other schools. I can say that we are having a graduation reception in a couple weeks, and we'll get some great pictures from it that could be used to update the stock ones on the site.

My focus is on the business school. I want to see if over the next couple years I can get it acknowledged (in some way whatever that means) as a school that provides an incredibly affordable education that is on-par with a third tier business school. I of course believe we already are, you will see me working to get others to believe this also :)

    Hello Dr. Lady,

Does Taft University accept degree evaluations from other entities besides NACES?

I know a few foreign trained physicians that would be interested in the MBA with a healthcare administration emphasis. They are ECFMG certified (A rigorous and expensive US evaluation process) and hold the Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS, MD, MBChB, etc). The US certifying agency link is found here: ECFMG® | Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates

I'm not the final say the admissions folks are, however in talking to them and a first look at the evaluating organization I do not see why they would not accept this evaluation. Tell them to register on the AIMS website first which will save the application fee, this way if for some reason something doesn't go through they are not out of pocket anything..

    Dr Lady,

Can one take MBA credits without enrolling in the degree program? Are taft credits also recognized by ACE?

The price looks attractive for those of us that are looking for continuing education credits and not really interested in a degree program.

You have to enroll as a degree seeking student, otherwise the tuition is $225 a credit hour. What we have put together is really designed around helping people earn their degree.

I honestly had not thought about continuing education. Let me mull it over and have some conversations...

You would have them beating down your virtual doors if you offered a PHD completion program for ABDs, and/or alternately, to offer a PhD by dissertation program, as in the UK, Australia and South Africa.

    Why not be the first?
