Just passing on this email I received. You don't have to be a pharmacist to do their online MS, but I don't know if you need to be one to join AMCP. Also applies to employees of companies belonging to the Association of Clinical Research Organizations (ACRO.)

You probably already know that our part-time, non-thesis Master of Science in Pharmacy is entering its sixth year of online delivery. We have over 200 active students and over 150 alumni. What you may not know is that we have a new partnership with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy that allows us to waive tuition for online MSPharm students taking their 1st and 9th courses. Our students are acquiring the knowledge and credentials they need to successfully compete in the increasingly tight job market. We position our students for success. Please help us spread the word about this opportunity to try out the program at no charge for the first course, when a pharmacist joins AMCP for $240. We have five tracks to choose from:
    • Pharmacy Regulation & Policy
    • Patient Safety & Risk Management
    • Applied Pharmacoeconomics
    • Clinical Research Regulation & Ethics
    • Drug Regulatory Affairs

Here is what the Pharmacy Regulation & Policy Curriculum looks like:
    Foundation Courses
    • Structure, Process & Outcomes of Regulation
    • Ethics in Drug Development, Production & Use Core Courses
    • Federal Regulation of Drugs & Pharmacy
    • State Regulation of Drugs & Pharmacy
    • Pharmaceutical Products & Public Policy Additional Course Options
    • Medicare & Medicaid
    • Federal Regulation of Controlled Substances
    • Pharmaceutical Crimes
    • Practices & Procedures of Administrative Agencies
    • Regulating Pharmaceutical Access & Cost
    • Pharmacy Health Care Systems
    • Health Care Risk Management
    • Risk Management, Liability & Compliance
    • Regulating Clinical Research

If you have any questions about the program, or if you know of a prospective student that you would like me to contact, please let me know by email <mailto:[email protected]> .

We appreciate your loyalty to UF, and thanks in advance for taking time to assist with identification of prospective students.

I was enrolled in this program. Dr Brushwood is awesome to work with and the program looked great! It was fun and interesting but had to drop due to the workload while I was working on my NCU degree (it was not practical).
