Guys please keep this sweet little girl Sophia (4months) in your thoughts and prayers today. This is the daughter of my best friend and they found out last week that she has Neuroblastoma (cancer). She begins chemotherapy treatment today. Her mom called me and asked me to take some photos of her and her sister yesterday before she begins treatment. Thank you Abner and you are correct, we are all just thankful that her doctor found it at such a young age. The doctors are very optimistic that her treatment will be successful even though she is considered stage 4 already. Hard to believe as she looks like such a healthy happy baby.
Thoughts, check. Prayers, check. I have a scripture of my own, Psalm 147:3- please forward it to the parents. I hope/wish/pray the best for them. This isn't the way that things were meant to be, and not the way that they will be forever (Revelation 21:4).
Lord, we ask that you touch this child with the same power that created the universe. When the doctors look at her the second time, I ask that they are bewildered by the fact that she is perfectly clean and healthy.
Thank you everyone for praying and thinking of her! So far things are going great and she is being a champ. Thank you about the comments! I am so glad I could take these photos for them of her and it was easy to get great pictures of such a beautiful girl! I will pass along all the wonderful comments to her parents.
