Now that the affordability of Western New Mexico University (WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY) may disappear with the changes in the tuition rates in New Mexico, as discussed in a previous thread, are there comparable alternatives? It would be nice to complete a graduate degree program which allows two 18 credit concentrations. Does such a program exist at other schools? Thanks in advance!
Well, there is Amberton University's MA in Professional Development. I'm not sure off-hand if they have concentrations (sorry I can't look it up for you at the moment), but they will take credits from just about anywhere in just about anything to go towards it. It is very much a Liberal Studies degree, but with a nicer sounding name. Last I checked tuition had just increased to $233. That is probably the best you will find.
There's a sticky thread on the main page for interdisciplinary programs. I'm sure you could find a wealth going through that thread. -Matt
