TUIU is now Trident University International?

    Not causing confusion - causing consternation. I think the naming convention sounds contrived, juvenile, and "millish."

    There is no turning back now... the new logo is up on their site and the pop up ads are out.

    That's great and all, but the website for TUI abbreviates the name as "Trident" in multiple locations. It also uses "Trident University."

    It still says "TUI University" in some places too but I imagine those would be removed eventually. It seems like they're using Trident or Trident University in most places, and keeping "International" in their official name mostly so the TUI acronym won't entirely disappear.

    I wish them all the best, because they are (from what I've heard) a good school. I'm still not a fan of the name however.
