    Congrats, you should be very proud of yourself. Great job!! However, now that your a Dr., make sure you don't forget your friends here at degree info. You are a very valuable asset to those just starting out seeking educational information. So make sure you stick around this site and continue providing advice to all. Congrats once again!

    Randell,

    What fantastic news! You are certainly an inspiration to those who have set the highest academic degree as their goal. You have every reason to be proud of your accomplishment and never need to justify where or how you received a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university. The challenges will come, most likely, from those who have not put the time and effort that you have to apply your knowledge, experience and expertise into a major research project that was defended beofre a panel of experts. It is a pleasure to call you "Doctor."

    Remember that a doctoral degree is, above all else, a certificate of endurance and, regardless of the discipline that we studied and researched, we all majored in the same thing: jumping through hoops :)
