I guess I never really thought about that. Of course your not going to pack a big framed degree to an interview.

But what would the answer be if somebody asked a Charter Oaks graduate what there major was. Being they don't have majors, do you have to give them the full story.

I know I am making this out to be more then what it really is. I'm just curious.

    If Sociology, for example:

Dude: What did you go to school for?
    gopens: Sociology.
    Dude: Cool.

    Dude: What did you study?
    gopens: Sociology.
    Dude: Cool.

Dude: What was your degree in?
    gopens: Sociology.
    Dude: Cool.

    Dude: What was your major?
gopens: My concentration was in Sociology.
    Dude: Cool.

    Dude: What was your major?
gopens: My concentration was in Sociology.
    Dude: Concentration?
gopens: That's what my college calls a major.
    Dude: Oh, cool.

By the way, check out the title of this page: Concentrations (Majors) and CPS Forms at Charter Oak State College

I think I'm more concerned at how well he was able to knock off the look of Word 2007 in Paint. ;)

When I chose EC I liked having a major and a concentration; I may never have to show recruiters my diploma, but I can say exactly what it is on my resume and expect no questions. Otherwise I would have chosen COSC, the name sounds nice.
