Anyone taking Aspen University's MBA Program?

How are you doing? Does the course move along pretty quickly?

    Thanks, Jim

Sorry, Jim, if you don't get much action on this thread. The subject of Aspen has been covered so much here recently that people are probably burned out on it.

Got your PM. I will answer here for the benefit of the members. I took the independent class mode. There are eight modules for every class. Each module requires that you write 8-12 pages. The books are good, and so are the teachers. If you have any questions, they get back to the same day usually. The classes I took are eight weeks, but you can ask for an extra two weeks. The work is challenging, yet doable. I think Dr. Lady finished his MBA in less than a year, but that dude is super smart. I think it took me 2.5 years? You can finish fast if you really want to, or can.

At the end of all the courses you will need to take a proctored open book test, usually at a College. The final is 4 hours. You can lug in all your books to the test site. The site explains it pretty well.

I alslo crossed over from CCU to Aspen, along with others who followed suit. Aspen is a great school.

    See ya,

You may increase the number of responses if the subject line of your thread was more focused... like "Aspen University MBA Question" instead of a "generic" "Aspen University"...

No problem. I am going to PM you my personal email as well should you have any questions. If you are used to the CCU format, you will not have any problems at Aspen. I love my MBA, and it has already shown good ROI in respect to my contract work I do on the side. The general population (not us DL freaks) seem to really snap to attention when you say you have an MBA!!!!!

Gbrogan (Ann) is currently working on her Masters. Ann, if you read this, could you add your 2 cents? Thanks. You could PM her as well.

See ya bro, Have a great Labor Day

    Abner :)

Thanks, Abner. Is it mostly all paper writing? Were there quizzes at any point in your MBA classes, other than the proctored exams?

Mostly paper writing, no quizzes. It's funny how much knowledge you retain from all that paper writing.
