Is any one familiar with OBI&S?

They are accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission International which is an unrecognized accrediting agency. That doesn't look good. It's either a virtually unaccredited school or it's a degree mill.

    There are better options..

Let's just say there are better options available.

There are lots of good, affordable fully accredited programs.

If accreditation is not your concern, I would suggest you contact Rick Walston at Columbia Evangelical Seminary -- a Pentecostal.

Rick will be honest with you.

I agree with the posts above. If you are absolutely sure you don't need an accredited degree, check out CES that Haggai12 suggested, or maybe Louisiana Baptist University. Both are unaccredited but at least have acceptable reputations.

What kind of degree are you looking for? Bachelors? Masters? What subject?

For a regionally accredited bachelor's degree in ministry, one of the cheapest online accredited options that I know of is Clear Creek Baptist College:
    Clear Creek Baptist College Online

For a regionally accredited master's degree, try Liberty University (they offer bachelors programs too but you can get it cheaper from CCBC above):
    Liberty University Online

If you're not worried about regional accreditation, Luther Rice University has TRACS accreditation which, (unlike the illegitimate TACI accreditation that OBI&S has) is accepted by USDE & CHEA:

Nations U.....need I say more? Oh wait, I need to? Ok, well Nations only cost $100 a year, they are working on DETC which is a huge plus and the education they provide is great. Boom! (Is it a sin to post about Nations while I have been drinking?)

b4cz28 makes a good (although perhaps drunken?!) point. :D Nations University (www.nationsu.org) is currently unaccredited but working on DETC accreditation. I can't believe I forgot to mention them!
