Currently I am enrolled in a great school which requires me to do some math courses. Math is not my strongest point and I would like to take the coures online in another institution and transfer them over. The courses and business calc and statistics. I had taken courses at university of phoenix which I felt was quite easy but they dont offer the courses I am trying to take. Does anyone know of some very easy, quick, distance math courses which one can take? Thanks
I think you would have to choose between easy, quick and legitimate. Like the old saying goes, pick any two. You can't have all three. There's plenty of schools that are not regionally accredited that offer easy classes, but they might not count for much. Hopefully, someone here on this board can point you to the easiest legitimate course; you don't want to mess with the others. I'm sorry that I don't know of easy legitimate courses for you. The school I go to is really tough. But I suck at math too! I have to take doctoral level statistics next and I'm quaking in my boots!
I need something accredited becasue I am in a state school. However UOP was accredited and not too bad, anything similiar?
I have seen the CLEP but right now I am looking toward a course in which i can do online, but perhapsh open book exams? (talking about stat and calc)
For stats, have you tried ALEKS? It costs 20 dollars a month, and 40 dollars to order a transcript from ACE to your school. The learning style on there is very good for someone who wants to learn at their own pace.
I'm taking the occasional science course at Coastline CC (but no math yet). Courses so far are moderate degree of difficulty and or either 8 or 16 weeks in length. https://bannerss.cccd.edu:4450/pls/PROD/pw_pub_sched.p_listthislist Here are some other options: UC Berkeley Mathematics and Statistics - UC Berkeley Extension LSU http://is.lsu.edu/courselist.asp?cat=Mathematics&nid=102&pg=
