I completed my MBA from CSU and was contemplating working on an RA PHD if I could find a school that would accept. I know NCU did some time back but they have since revoked that policy.

    Thanks for the help!

Wouldn't a practice like that cause problems with the accrediting agency?

It's at least possible that a RA school will accept a NA master's degree for entrance into their PhD program. I say this because Liberty (RA) will accept NA masters into their distance PhD program (I know this PhD is probably not what the OP is looking for in terms of subject matter, this is just an example to demonstrate that there could be other options out there):

    PhD in Theology and Apologetics
Admission requirements: "Regionally or nationally accredited bachelor's and master's degree with at least a 3.25 GPA for admission in good standing."

That's a degree that I would like to do someday. Maybe I'll do it as my (unlikely) second doctorate. I would enjoy the subject matter.

    Ph.D Degree

I don't believe it's going to be that difficult finding a good school.
Take a look at National University they may have what your looking for.

Sorry... that's out of my system :D

Anyway, does NU fit the OPs needs? An RA school that accepts Na degrees?

A course taken at a college without regional accreditation is not transferable to National University.

    http://www.nu.edu/Admissions/Graduate/GraduateTransferStud.html

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university where an overall grade point average of 2.5 or better was achieved, or where a grade point average of 2.75 or higher was achieved in the last 90 quarter units

Capella says this: "Master’s degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution." (http://www.capella.edu/inc/pdf/admissions_requirements.pdf)

I understand that Walden (www.waldenu.edu) does also, as well as UoP...
