Well, I think I'm finally going to take the plunge and complete my degee at TESC.

I was hoping that in the intervening years I would have more options for an undergrad DL degree completion in architecture but no luck. In fact, it looks like TESC just discontinued their architectural design degee in January! I hope I can beg them to let me get that degree since I only need about 9 units.

One question I have is what constitutes spam here? I had created a new Id since I could not remember my login. I added a resource for a free course and I was flagged as a spammer!

Hi JD - Welcome back! You may want to scroll through some of our recent threads because it seems that there are some developments at TESC that are not particularly positive.

Currently we are not allowing people to put links in their sig lines. There's some work going on in the background that will allow people to resume this practice in the future but as you guessed, this is a way to reduce the amount of spam on the board. You are welcome to put the link into the body of your post or, you can list it in the thread that was created on free courses:

    Thanks for your contributions.

Thanks. I did see the news about Rutgers. I hope to be done before any merger happens (if at all) because the other schools are not great options for me.

The perfect scenario would be for the merger to become official when I'm in my final term so that the diploma would be from Rutgers.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't use a signature. My post pretty much looked exactly like the thread you reference. In fact, that was the thead I posted to.

Whatever. I just think it's pretty crappy to be tagged a spammer for no cause and with no explanation. My inquiries were never responded to either -- 2 weeks ago!

If not then maybe you could use the Learner Designed Area of Study to finish you Architectural dessign degree.

I have considered that and will explore further.

My concern is whether or not the are of study is shown on the actual degree/diploma or if it's a generic BA/BA/BSAT. The worst thing would be a degree with the official designation of "Learner Designated Area of Study".

I don't think it was that you were tagged a spammer. For one thing, spammers very rarely inquire as to why they've been banned, or had posts or sigs edited.

Also, ANY new poster who includes ANY url in their post will trigger a script that throws that post into the moderation queue. This was necessary to prevent drive-by spammings of cellphones, Ipods, etc. However, the post should have been reviewed and posted; I'm not sure what happened there.

I also see all of the reports and inquiries that come through and I don't remember seeing one from you, but it's possible it got buried in my inbox. If so, I apologize for that.
