Hello everyone! I have a quick question. I have a good friend who is in need of a Master's Program that would allow him to teach Health and Physical Science at the College level. Money is a concern, programs under 10k would be great. Sincerely, Ruble
Virginia Tech has the following program - http://www.soe.vt.edu/hp/ I have a colleague who is currently working on this program with her husband. Unfortunately, it says they are not currently taking applications. That could be because it's already full for the fall, but I'm not sure. I'm not sure of the cost either, as the in-state or out-of-state tuition could make a huge difference. -Matt
Technically physical science is any science that isn't biological. Physics, chemistry, meteorology, geology, etc. are all physical sciences. If you heard the term earth science, all those sub fields are physical science. I'm really wondering if the original poster meant physical education as opposed to physical science. Health and physical science seem pretty different spheres of study. If the OP really meant physical science, there is a good looking geoscience program at Mississippi State. It's a shade over $12K so maybe it would work. It doesn't cover any health stuff, however. That what I thought as well, but didn't want to be uneducated guess. 'Cause the only field that close to physical science for health is pharmacology and medical chemistry. It is hard to find any program in physical education for under $10K.
