I remember coming across a version of Dr. Bear's Guide back in 1998 and have now completed an AAS, BA and MBA each from a RA school while working full time. Although I don't post as often as some of you, I often look to degreeinfo.com for encouragement and I want to express my heartfelt thanks.

Wow, nicely done indeed. Perhaps with your newly earned free time we'll see you posting on here more often.

Or maybe you can pick up an outside hobby and truly enjoy life. Enjoy a break from having your head in books.

    Congrats.

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment. How was the program at the University of Dallas? I hear good things about it from some friends in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.

Again congratulations on your academic achievements. As a Texas resident, the University of Dallas is a well regarded parochial private university.

Thoughts on UD and future plans

I enjoyed my experience with UD and would recommend it to others. I found the professors to all be competent and interested in helping their students. UD is working on AACSB accreditation and as a result has reduced the number of concentrations and removed the Masters in Management (Post-MBA program). They still have 16 concentrations available UD Concentrations; which may make them worth a second look by those outside the DFW area.
Although I'm sure this isn't a unique experience, I found it interesting that such as large portion of the student body were from outside the US (my guess without checking with the school would be approximately 50%). I have managed engineering teams in several countries, but I still thought the international student body enriched my experience.
I promised my wife I would take a break after finishing the MBA. I am looking at either a Business Doctorate (Grenoble, Nova Southeastern) or step back and getting a MS in Computer Science (Nova Southeastern).
I've been fortunate that my employer has picked up the tab on each of my degrees. Hopefully that option will still be around when I start looking at getting back in the game.
