Have to agree. I used the same book and passed with ease. Actually, I used the COMEX and REA books for my tests and did well on all of them.

What Randell said! We are cheering for you ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the family thing. But you will find support here. Many here have lifted me up when I was down, and have given me good advice. I hope I have done the same in return. So just keep your eyes on the prize!!!!

If you need suggestions on other CLEPs and DANTES exams, let us know. I have taken 22 exams worth 84 credits. I am sure between all the people on this board almost every test was taken.

Thanks for all the helpful info

I bought the clep book and the comex over the weekend and I must say that they both are very helpful but I like the comex better I also have the peterson but have not gotten around to see it yet.

Is the REA book good? I'm going through that one and the Collins College Outlines for Basic Math... I can also take Peterson's... I'm okay at math, but it's been several years since I studied it and my skills have SEVERELY atrophied. Advice?

Anyone?? Are Peterson's and/or REA tests pretty close on this one?? I just got a 58 on the first Peterson's test. Better than I was expecting.

If I may ask - where do you plan to earn your degree? If it is one of the Big 3, you might want to look at ALEKS as an option:

    http://www.aleks.com/highered/math/course_products

The other option (if you want some structure) is to enroll in a Math Class for Spring Semester at Clovis Community College:

    www.clovis.edu

Both of these options are very inexpensive. Good luck!
