Hello! I am a new member to this site tonight.

I am an Assistant Professor and teach online for the MGH Institute of Health Professions where I have taught 7 courses for the past 6 years. I also have another job 3 days per week where I work away from home.

My goal is to eventually teach 100% from home as an online adjunct/Assistant Professor. I have a rather unique background and am currently searching for online teaching opportunities to supplement my other teaching. Not quite sure what teaching opportunities would be the best match for my educational background.

I love teaching adult learners and am quite suited to the online teaching format. I have been involved with distance education for the past 16 years. I look forward to sharing with and learning from the great educators on this site! I can already tell that there is truly a wealth of knowledge here with this group.

Hi - Welcome to degreeinfo. I think you'll find that there are quite a few people in positions similar to your own who can answer questions, etc. Good luck as you progress toward your goal.

    Welcome KLM

With your background, you shouldn't have any trouble getting positions. You are also qualified to teach a wide variety of classes, which will make you even more useful. MBA classes are one idea, especially an MBA with a healthcare focus like this http://www.mbaregis.com/degrees-healthcare.php
I think that the demand for healthcare degrees is rising.

    Best of luck to you
