Hi Tenesh - I'm wondering . . . what can you tell us about the Open University of Malaysia. Does it have a good reputation within your country? Do many local people attend?

    Selamat datang!

Your country is an interesting place. I still remember most of the Bahasa Malayu (Saya suku!!!) that I learned in my trip there years ago. Great food. Greater people.

    What brings you here?

Hi my name Fred! I have been reading thru several of the topics for a long time, I must admit this is an excellent source for information. I need some assistance with finding some career info. Can anyone on the board suggest a good online school that has drafting and graphic design programs?

Hello everyone. I'm not new to the site, but have now taken the time to join. Can anyone help me in locating an accredited school that offers a masters in preaching online(I know that some classes may have to be taken on campus)?

    Thanks.

    Brian

A master's in preaching? Is that different from the M.Div.?

Yes, there is a difference. The MDiv is a pastoral specialist degree that focuses on ministry (including preaching). The preaching degree's specialty is in preaching, and can usually be completed by lay persons. The MDiv usually caters to functioning pastors.

Hello, my name is Peppy and I'm in Southeast Asia. I hold an LL.B. and an LL.M. (and probably won't be doing a PhD). Currently studying French (my fourth language) and Dutch (my fifth language). Neither are degree programs but I am working on obtaining my DELF B2 (I already passed the A2) and the CNaVT-PMT certificates.

I came here to ask a silly question and follow some threads.

Welcome, Maria. I am a newcomer myself. But I just dove right in and it has been great. I ask questions and answer questions whenever I can.

    What are you working on?

    Hello Everyone.

My name is Rob and I've been a long time lurker on the forum. I'm a bit of an education junkie. While my own formal education is on hold pending the desire to engage in a PhD, I spend my free time teaching via DL and taking MOOCS on subjects that interest me as time permits.

    Thanks Randall.

Any idea why the 'Todays Posts' exists when I'm not logged in but does not when I am? I really like that feature.

Hello everyone! My name is Daniel, and I have been researching online schools for a couple of months. I stumbled upon this forum, and it looks like it has some great information.
I am interested in getting more information about pursuing a business degree, but specifically for areas relating to Corporate Training, Organizational Leadership, and Human Resources. This seems to be a very murky area of the Business Bachelor's Degree. I will probably be lurking around the Business Degree threads as well.

Hi Daniel - Welcome to DegreeInfo! Business degrees are not my specialty area but I think you'll find that on the Bachelors level there's not a lot of specialization happening. I'm glad to hear that your reading the forums and encourage you to ask a lot of questions. We have great members who are always happy to share their knowledge and experience.

Greetings! I am Brian from Las Vegas, NV. I will have many questions pertaining to online certificates and possible masters programs, as I am poised to begin one in the coming year. I have a 10 year old BA in poli sci and I am considering an executive business admin certificate, then possibly a MA in organizational behavior / development / management. I often dream of going for my Doctorate in something as I get older, and I am looking to begin that journey sooner rather than later!
I have a lot of experience in the food, beverage, hospitality and tourism industries and can answer just about any question in regards to those topics.
    Warm regards to all!
