CCAF is offering a new online course called "Introduction to Culture" which can be used to fill the social science requirement or a general elective of the CCAF degree. Enrollments are currently being taken for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
CAP members may take courses from the Air Force Institute for Advanced Distributed Learning (what used to be known as the Extension Course Institute). I believe that CCAF may be a different story. The CCAF website indicates that you must join the USAF as an enlisted member to be a CCAF student. I do know that enlisted members of the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard are also eligible. http://www.au.af.mil/au/ccaf/
Civil Air Patrol members may not take Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) courses. As a Civil Air Patrol member, I check this out a long time ago and verified it. Air University courses can be taken by Civil Air Patrol members, and I have completed many for free. I have even had those AU courses that were favorably rated by ACE, placed on my college transcripts at Thomas Edison States College and Excelsior College.
