2009 AP Deadlines

If you are thinking about taking the AP exams in May, the deadline to apply is in March. I'm not sure if adults can take these tests, but homeschoolers definitely can. Here is the link to the AP calendar:

We're not planning on taking any AP exams - but I put the info up in case anyone was interested. Upon reviewing the AP info, the local school isn't contacted; everything is through the College Board.

As far as working with the local high school, we did work with the guidance office for fee waivers for the ACT and SAT, but other than that, we steer clear of the local school whenever possible:

Yeah, we are HSLDA members also. I'll have to review the website, our homeschoolers here all schedule directly with the high school...but we have not done any for our kids yet (too young). I'm not sure how you would go around the school?

Ok, thanks. You still have to deal with the school though (once you have your list). In any event, it doesn't apply to either of us LOL.
