Interesting post, okydd. Unfortunately, looks like none of these programs is aacsb accredited. As you know, that is a huge issue, as aacsb is the gold standard of business school accreditation. By going to a non-aacsb business school, you are taking a huge risk. Feel free to check out my thread that lists some of the aacsb accredited doctorates.

Thx Jayzee. My goal is a bit more modest than finding an aacsb accredited school. My goal is to find an RA equivalent school that offers external dba/phd for a modest cost anywhere in the world.

    okydd,

We share a common goal! I want to be in a doctoral program in 2009. Thanks for posting some suggestions to the board.

In that case, if aacsb accreditation is not an issue (although I can't imagine why, considering it is the gold standard and even employers are looking into it) I think your best bet would be unisa (University of South Africa). Unisa has been discussed on this board many times, and they are very affordable as well.

It depends also what are teaching. I teach information systems and some schools have the IS department in the business faculty while others in the computer information systems department. Business schools tend to ask for the AACSB accreditation but Computer Information Systems don't. Some other schools put more emphasis on IT certifications.
