I was just wondering does the distance education degree transcripts say degree was earned online? Or it's just a regular looking transcript? Just curious because someone on another board had asked the same question. which i think is a good question.
I have never heard of one transcript or diploma from any school with a DL program that states in any way that the degree was earned online.
In Florida, SOME college will designate if a class was taken online or not. I've seen the letter "I" after a class to designate internet.
Some school states ONLINE on the transcript. I believe American InterConntinental University used to state ONLINE on the transcript, but not sure anymore. Just do your homework by calling the institution before enrolling. I did mine, I contacted Troy University before applying there. I remember they told me that,"The transcript and diploma will not state ONLINE; your degree is the SAME as those attending through B&M."
I seem to recall one MBA program that prints "Online" on the diploma, but I can't think of the school.
Most schools do not differentiate between online, on campus or on satellite campus. Howver, some do. You'll have to ask. I know MBI (Moody Bible Institute) is only marked MBI if you graduate from the main campus. If you graduate online or at any of its extension centers the transcripts and degree are maked Moody Bible Institute, School of External Studies. Pug
I am wondering if the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D would say the same? If so, their new DBA at distance is not any different from NCU, Walden, and etc.
