I just got the results to my last test in the mail. It was the TECEP English Comp I and I scored a 98. I will fax the transcript request tomorrow to get it sent to Excelsior. It is the only transcript they are waiting on. Officially it will be a B.S. Liberal Studies with an area of focus in Criminal Justice/Protective Services. I ended up using credits form 9 different sources. Here is a breakdown: Grossmont College - 24 LL credits (Took these classes at B&M in 1996) United States Border Patrol Academy - 12 credits total, 4 of them UL American Military University - 30 credits total, 9 UL FEMA - 13 LL credits The Backup Training Corp. (transcribed into credit through North Idaho College) - 17 LL credits DSST - 6 UL CLEP - 6 LL ECE - 12 UL Excelsior College - 1 LL (info lit) TECEP - 3 LL I will be the first in my Family to graduate from College! I know I haven't posted here very often, but I read the boards almost every day. I want to give a big thanks to the people on this board. I learned a lot from here and have been using that knowledge to help family members and co-workers learn how they can do the same thing I have. Before anyone asks, yes I'm planning on a Masters (or two) but will probably wait a few months to start as we are expecting our third child in October.
Congratulations! What field(s) do you propose to study for the master's degree(s) after trey is born?
I have changed my mind about a dozen times, but I'm currently leaning towards the MSHS - Emergency and Disaster Management at TUI. They give a pretty good discount to government employees. I've also considered WNMU as a second Masters since the price is right and you can get 18 hrs in two subjects.
Congratulations, both on graduation and #3!! You might want to keep in mind the M.S. or M.P.A. in Emergency Management programs at Jacksonville State University, which are exceptionally affordable; http://jsuonline.com/online_degrees.php
