And, of course, despite the fact that you are clearly supporting this *lie* it doesn't mean that you are non-ethical or without morals.

    Is Lacrosse a state-approved school?

For me, the relevant variable isn't accreditation so much as it's credibility. Accreditation is simply an easily accessible indicator of credibility. So I'm happy to accept non-accredited degrees, if I have some convincing reasons why I should. There are a handful of non-accredited schools that I do kind of like, and at least one or two that I think are better than many RA schools in their particular subjects.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any reason to believe that Lacrosse is credible.

    I see three possibilities:

    1. Somebody earns a degree from a credible non-accredited school. I don't necessarily see anything wrong with that. The school might have been a good choice. But the burden of proof is going to be on the graduate to defend his or her school.

    2. Somebody acquires a degree from a school that isn't credible, but doesn't notice the deficiencies. That might not be unethical exactly if there's no intent to deceive, but it probably suggests academic incompetence and lack of judgement.

    3. Somebody knowingly acquires a degree from a school that isn't credible and proceeds to boast an empty "credential". Not only does this one suggest a serious lack of professional judgement, it's also pretty clearly unethical.

Thanks! I tossed and turned last night wondering. :D

I'm not supporting anything. All I wondered was why someone said that she lacked morals or ethics just because the college was unaccredited. *Most* posters came back with legitimate reasons. No problems.

    All is good.

Yup, which mill shills don't want to acknowledge. They want to play to the least common denominator--if state licensing is sufficient somehwere, it is sufficient everywhere.

Legitimate? Prove it. Accredited? Okay. Unaccredited? Provide other proof, please.

California still has some intriguing unaccredited schools. But they get buried in all the crap that is allowed to exist--and it's only getting worse.

As Bruce said, it is widely known that this is not a college. It is a degree mill. Referring to Lacrosse as an unaccredited college can easily be construed as support for this scam entity. You can continue to think that "all is good" if you like but in this case you haven't done your homework.

Maybe it does not make her immoral or unethical but it does make her ignorant for not doing her homework and researching the school to see if it is properly accredited. If she did not, she is not really smart, if she did and "fell" for their bull, she is not really smart. Either way, I would not respect her for general lack of judgement.
