Now it's clear. When Manafort, the Spinmeister for the Despots, pronounces something like that, you KNOW he does it in good faith. Believe me.

What you still fail to understand is the fact Trump hired Manafort (and Carter Page, the guy blatantly in the pocket of Gazprom - which he does not even deny) was the red flag on par with the Access Hollywood tape, if not worse. The fake "Ukrainian collusion" non-scandal was actually about Alexandra Chalupa trying to get people to realise that. On top of this, the transition held secret meetings with King of Jordan and the Emirati crown prince.

Bottom line is this: 1) Obama did NOT specifically spied on Trump, 2) Based on what we know now, he definitely should have.

    The timing belies your assertion.

Have your hirelings hold secret meetings with the King of Jordan in your office, and see if you'll be picked up on wiretaps.

Don't you see that the narrative of the anti-Trump conspiracy involving intelligence agencies makes no sense? Let me get this straight: Obama tapped Trump phones to get dirt on him, then sat on this dirt until after the elections? Are you messing with me now?

There was no dirt. There was, however, the felonious leaking of an investigation.

Your penchant for the disingenuous slur is telling.

Sigh. No dirt on Manafort, yeah right.

Consider two things: 1) what would stop a rogue intel professional bent on destroying a political target from planting dirt? Or, I don't know, just slip Polonium in an enemy's tea (as actual rogue spyster gangs actually do - Google "Litvinenko" or "Yuschenko dioxin")? 2) the fact that the guy is under investigation is dirt in itself - and it is feloniously leaked ten month after the election. Do you know many felons who wait to commit their felony until after it would benefit them?

We know there was no dirt because they dropped the investigation. You're not saying this is all political, are you?

When do they get to Podesta?

This should have Trump worried. Manafort is clearly in the Feds line of sight. If he gets spooked enough, I could see him turning on Trump to make a deal (whether or not there was any wrongdoing). Not looking good, but we'll see.

Andrew C. McCarthy thinks so and he knows a thing or two:

    National Review Online | Print

If Manafort is in legal hot water then that is for things not involving Trump. Can Mueller extort Manafort with a plea deal to try to implicate Trump in unrelated matters? We'll see.

If only this logic worked on Clinton.

No clue. In all likelihood, Podesta Group just did a hired PR job; but sure, that should be investigated in full.

Fox news slammed by legal experts for saying trump was right about obama wiretap

Fox News Slammed by Legal Experts for Saying Trump Was Right About Obama Wiretap

“If Trump was talking with foreign agents who were under FBI surveillance, he may have been recorded even if not the tap target,” the nonprofit group wrote. “Trying to downplay Trump’s lie by showing he associated with suspected criminals hardly seems like a robust defense of his honesty.”

Hey, you're the one who brought it up. You can't put yourself into the story and then complain when people comment.

    Fox News Coverage is Outstanding!

Newsweek is alt.left political garbage that produces lies and fake news. It cannot be trusted for accuracy or objectivity.

Fox News is doing an outstanding job of coverage, to the chagrin of the alt.left media and to those who lean to the alt.left.
