Trump retweets GIF of him hitting Clinton with golf ball

XVI.8: Confucius said, "There are three things of which the superior man stand in awe. He stands in awe of the ordinances of Heaven. He stands in awe of great men. He stands in awe of the words of the sages. The mean man does not know the ordinances of Heaven, and consequently does not stand in awe of them. He is disrespectful to great men. He makes sport of the words of the sages."

Normally my reaction to Trump would be, "You won, get over it." But when she published that silly book she basically asked for more ridicule, so I'm less sympathetic.

I haven't been much critical of his tweets but I don't like this one.

"She asked for it" argument? Subtle.

Hillary made $17M for this book. It gets fairly positive reviews and sells well (yes, I own a copy). In other news, Alec Baldwin just got an Emmy, the first one Donald Trump ever won. And, as always, it's worth noting that HRC won the popular vote.

President Donald J. Trump won the Electoral College:
    - 232 (44%) Electoral Votes for HRC
    - 306 (56%) Electoral College votes for President Trump

President Trump had a solid 74 more electoral votes than HRC (not just 1 or 2 marginal votes).

    The United States is awesome!

Yeah, Trump proves that absolutely anyone can be President, even with no qualifications (beyond the Constitutional minimum of being natural-born and, technically, an adult) and even if more people voted for a different candidate. Something to be proud of, to be sure.

Yes, screwing over your fellow American voters is such a source of glee. Still, not many living people can claim to win the Popular vote (Carter, Bill Clinton, GHB, Al Gore, GWB, Obama, and now HRC). Substantially more people had won an Emmy. Both honours eluded Donald Trump. He should have thought about using Russian help earlier: I'm sure Putin could have easily bought him an Emmy for The Apprentice.

Thumbs up God bless the United States -- and President Trump!

The United States is by the people, of the people and for the people, which explains why the presidency is open to natural born United States citizens -- and it is not relegated to:
    - highfalutin aristocratic blue bloods
    - nor the top 3% of the communist party.

Donald J. Trump is president because hard-working, blue collar, United States citizens put him in office. God bless the United States and President Donald J. Trump!

    Four more elected years!!!

Yes, them, plus Vladimir Putin. People opposed: a plurality of hard working American citizens of varying colors, from counties producing 65% of American wealth.

Also, he never won an Emmy.

Stanislav, as a Ukrainian-Russian foreigner who has never lived in the United States, is that how you view United States citizens?

Stanislav, a good place for you to start your crusade is by cleaning-up the mess in your countries-of-origin because they desperately need your help. Or conversely, maybe they are better off without your "advice and assistance"? Stanislav, where are you:
    - while your countries-of-origin are suffering
    - and while the United States is being blessed immeasurably (and without your assistance)?

Stanislav, have you abandoned assisting your countries-of-origin, in favor of telling United States citizens how to run their country? Stanislav, your native village is missing you -- and they are calling for your return.

It seems that you're irredeemable on this front, so I will make just one request: please stop calling me Russian. I'm not Russian. I never was a citizen of that country, Russian Federation. My country is at war with that goonocracy, a fact you are trained by your Dear Leader, Putin's puppet, to ignore. As to running the countries, rest assured that I'm voting in any elections I'm entitled to, which currently are both Canadian and Ukrainian. I have strong opinions on our governments, too.

Stanislav, you have no redemption to provide to United States citizens.

Stanislav, your request is granted. It is duly noted that you are not a Russian citizen, but you are simply of familial Russian heritage or lineage. Having a Russian familial heritage does not make you a bad person. It is what it is, but as they say, blood is thicker than water.

I really, really wish to know what in a world do you mean by that. On surface, it sounds like you espouse the blood purity doctrine. Did you have to accept the Dark Mark to get your MAGA hat?

OTOH, it does validate my observation that HRC bears striking resemblance to Hermione Granger. I know Steve disagreed, but I stand by this. Also, Trump's background is German (blood is thicker than water, right?), he likes big rallies, and other Nazis are immediately drawn to him. Hmmm......
