Ted Cruz "Likes" porn on twitter

XVI.8: Confucius said, "There are three things of which the superior man stand in awe. He stands in awe of the ordinances of Heaven. He stands in awe of great men. He stands in awe of the words of the sages. The mean man does not know the ordinances of Heaven, and consequently does not stand in awe of them. He is disrespectful to great men. He makes sport of the words of the sages."

Well come on, I mean who doesn't like porn?

The responses on Twitter to this were hysterical.

It's quite possible that he has some constituents who will hold it against him

I don't like Cruz, but this is an especially stupid non-story, even for Washington. My first guess would have been "dumb staffer" even if that weren't his explanation.

I don't like Cruz, and enjoyed the story quite a bit. For about 15 minutes. It is ironic this happened to, of all people, Ted Cruz, and it's legitimate to make fun of him. But essentially, this is a 15-minute entertainment/gossip story, nothing more. Zero consequences.

And I agree with Steve: this is the time when a politician's excuse is most likely true. Dumb staffers happen; I bet this happened to other politicians too. It's just funnier when it's the Bible Ted.
