    Financial assistance for their medical expenses? Doesn't that come with the job?

    The bill authorizes the Capitol Police Memorial Fund to release funds to help the officers with their expenses, which could mean making up lost overtime, cost of child care, etc. The direct medical costs for their wounds were covered already
