Canadian Forces went through something similar in Afghanistan, in 2002. As part of the US-led "Operation Enduring Freedom," they were criticized for dark-green camouflage and consequently resorted to two different-coloured sets - printed with a special "Canadian Disruptive" computer-generated pattern.
