I'm not that familiar with this story, did they exposed genuine malfeasance?

No, they didn't. The edited the video to give it a fake spin. I will ask my friend about it later, they made it sound like PP was doing something illegal and they didn't.

Hmmmm...filming people without permission is a crime now. Interesting precedent to set.

Also, methinks that CA will have a different take on the situation than TX had.

Come on now. You know it's more complicated than that. I hope they have a good time in prison.

It could be true that the law is different in different states:dunno: I do know that in some places it's illegal to record telephone conversations without knowledge/permission.

Yes, and it is also illegal to impersonate in order and make fake ID's to gain access to restricted areas.

The film they made is on youtube. I watched it last year. It's worth watching, no matter what side you're on.

That's is correct. When I was an insurance investigator, a subject had to repeat his name and address, etc. while being tape recorded. Then you had to ask (series of questions) if they gave full consent to be recorded during an interview. That way it's nice and legal. That's the law in most states.

So we're not talking about filming anymore...we're talking about fake IDs? Better start rounding up the freshman class on every college campus!

And making up a fake company? Better round up every guy at every bar making up his place of work to impress a new prospect!

Ah, what ever. In the end, I hope they have a good time in prison. Shucks, maybe I'll make a fake ID and impersonate a cop a secretly record them whilst in the police department.

    Oh, then there was this:

"Daleiden, the leader of the videographers, also was charged with the purchase or sale of human organs, presumably because he offered to buy to provoke Planned Parenthood into saying it would sell."

Using a fake ID to gain access to dupe random workers = using a fake ID to impersonate law enforcement? Sure, whatever.

As far as prison goes, I'll put a wager on it. Being that they're in CA, they probably realize that the deck will be stacked against them more than in TX and I could see them pleading to a charge or two. Suspended sentence; no time served. You in?

Maybe, me not. I am not a lawyer, so I cannot comment on that on an intelligent manner. One thing is quite funny though. The Republicans called for an extensive investigation of PP. They were cleared of all wrong doing. This back fired though, and the only ones found culpable of any crimes were the two fun loving rascals mentioned above. Boy, did that back fire.

What is the connections between certain people in the GOP and these two random people? Were they on the GOP payroll or something?
