My guess? Depends on which color tie you support. Nothing more and nothing less from the army of assonauts engaged in "political discourse" in this country.

Well, it is working day 2 - let the opinions fly. I did hear today that he's sitting down for a 1 hour interview with Sean Hannity this week - I'm going to try and catch it.

Well, the polls did show Hillary winning so Trump people were right to discredit those.

Surely the Russians have some equivalent.

I think there were attempts, but they didn't take root. Maybe they'll resurrect Lenin's Prize for him. Maybe Hero of Russia?
It is unacceptable for him to be given mere Order of Friendship, like Tillerson already have.

Is it normal for a new president to enact so many executive orders right away? It seems like Trump is trying to build Rome in a day.

Not debating finer policy points (and I think they're all garbage btw), just two things: directing the DHS to publish regular reports of "crimes committed by aliens". When I'm crossing the border to visit American half of Niagara Falls (and that happens often), me and my family are "aliens". So that's... insulting. As a visual aid, try to imagine directive to report "crimes committed by white males" - kinda hard, isn't it?
Oh, and "clarifying" that Protection of Privacy Act only applies to U. S. citizens and permanent residents, and not to, say, international students, exchange visitors, tourists, and H1B holders. Tremendous.

It's amazing. I'm turned off voting Conservative in Ontario partly because, long time ago, Tim Hudak referred to a plan to help newcomer professionals find jobs as "affirmative action for foreign guest workers". Even though I was not overly impressed about the details of that Liberal proposal, and Hudak is not a leader or even an MPP anymore. I don't appreciate folks playing politics of division at my expense. Which is unfortunate, because provincial Liberals, regardless of their major policies, deserve to be voted out for a while right about now, for things like the power plant scandal and eHealthOntario (it's a series of Clinton-like ouchies that are, actually, quite substantive). And here is this Trump guy - even overlooked parts of his actions are 100 times more troubling that what Tim said. And that's just the first week. Not even counting that KGB appears to play him like a fiddle. Guys, you really don't feel at least a bit of buyers' remorse? Unbelievable.

A huge tariff on Mexican imports means starting a trade war with the second largest foreign supplier of food that Americans eat, and it provides a precedent for the other disastrous trade wars that Trump wants, e.g., with China. Given that Russia's demographic decline and modest GDP means that it can only retain global influence by weakening the influence of economically stronger countries, Trump basically couldn't be playing into Putin's hands more thoroughly even if he were a KGB sleeper agent.
