    A lot of people throughout the Caribbean praise Castro similarly mindlessly, even when they go berserk when their own heads of government do far less harm. People just don't question their dominant narratives, just like most Americans never question the evil the U.S. government does -- especially when it's their team who has the ball.

    I know that this is a pretty liberal university in a VERY liberal city, but I still find it ironic and somewhat amusing that the students at AMERICAN University prefer the non-American political leader.

    Maybe American was just the name of the guy who founded the university...??!

    This doesn't surprise me at all; it shows how successful the radical left has been with infiltrating academia, and indoctrinating young kids who will believe whatever is fed to them by the guy at the front of the class. Even a modicum of research would show what a thoroughly evil tyrant that Castro was, but these kids have been conditioned to not think for themselves, and spout the party line.

    Being born & raised in the Boston area, this article especially caught my eye;

    Fidel Castro no hero for Luis Tiant

    Luis Tiant in 1975 was excellent with the Red Sox.

    Castro was a full blown dictator; Trump at this point is not (and not likely to get there). Having said that, Castro has a big advantage to Trump (or Putin). Namely, he's dead and can't do any more harm.

    He's also a really, really nice guy. My dad was friends with his agent when he was with the Red Sox, so I met him several times. Very down-to-earth, friendly, just a very likable person.
