It's hard for me to imagine that anyone is really undecided at this point so . . . is there anything that could happen in this upcoming debate that would make you change your mind? Do any of us, regardless of your candidate, actually need this debate in order to make a decision? To me it feels more like the MTV Music Awards. Maybe interesting for 10 minutes but no more, and certainly rather meaningless. A staged production designed to benefit the network more than the people. At least I haven't become cynical.:ugh1:

I eagerly await all the socially smug telling me how great "their" side was. And, conveniently, how awful Hitler... I mean the "other" side was.

The in group signaling will be off the charts. Enjoy your Super Bowl of Snark and No Substance you lumpenproleteriat hacks.

For me it comes down to how Mark Cuban does against Juanita Broaddrick.

My money is on Gennifer Flowers. One of the most dangerous places to be is between her and a TV camera.

Is the debate on at 6pm, or is it 9pm?

I probably would have watched if they'd included all the candidates who were on enough state's ballots to win, but since they held a farce rather than a debate I caught up on a few episodes from last season of The Blacklist instead. Sure enough, this morning Trump's supporters are saying he won and Clinton's supporters are saying the opposite. Ho hum.

    I expected nothing less.

I started out the night doing homework and, around the time the debate was kicking off, decided it was a good time to put some work in on the toy boxes I'm building for my kids.

    No surprise there.

I did notice that on one Slate poll they showed that respondents thought Trump won. Way too much propaganda coming out of both camps to even get a clear picture.

You know when we'll know? Late on November 8th.

Anything else until then is mere flapdoodle.

I just hope everything is, indeed, settled on November 8th. If we get a Gore/Bush situation where SCOTUS needs to get involved...

And, let's face it, of all elections this is the most likely to have whichever party loses standing up and screaming "fraud" and trying desperately to undermine the process further.

Pence was definitely better than Kaine in the debate. Kaine was acting like Trump with the constant interruptions. Too bad Pence isn't at the top of the ticket.
