Georgia GOP leader indicted https://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/former-gop-chief-in-georgia-indicted-on-13-counts-of-child-molestation-for-55-years-of-abuse/?utm_source=fark&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=im&utm_tracker=1737131x84899
It's unfortunate that the only thing people seem able to agree on these days is that people who abuse kids, regardless of their party affiliation, are scum. Abuse spanning 55 years? That sends chills.
It also makes me think that something like that couldn't have continued for 55 years without others knowing about it.
The victims definitely knew about it. Had the first ones said anything, they might have saved later victims from the same fate.
What if they did and no one listened? Or what if they didn't because they feared that they wouldn't be believed? Maybe they feared repurcussions for speaking out against a respected member of the church and a pillar of the community. Or maybe they did speak and a series of "internal investigations" and "informal inquiries" by the local police led nowhere. You know, like how that Duggar kid got away with a stern talking to from a State Trooper instead of actually being punished for diddling his sisters. Ultimately the only one responsible for harming those kids was Joseph Dendy.
About the only thing that crosses party lines is sick behavior like this. Not ideas, not knowledge, not working together, just partisan hackery and molestation. Gross.
Lol, it probably actually is. Not officially, but I'm sure there are some out there with those same ideals.
I can barely eek out complete sentence in my mother tongue, now you want me to speak Spanish like someone from Latin America? Probably not.
Nec ideae nec sapientia et inter eos non adiuvant. Solo mediocritas et molestantes. Best I could do. (I found a def. of hackery as routine mediocrity.) First part might look good on a degree mill. J.
